EXPLANATIONS - The Grades of Merit are from 10, the highest, to 0, the lowest.

General Deportment will be determined by "(1) punctuality, (2) behavior in class, (3) general attention to duty, (4) observance of College Laws."

To rise, a student must make grades not lower than 6. All deficiencies must be made up before graduation.

Any pupil receiving below 5 in deportment, is dismissed from the institution.

M. T. PEED,
Secretary of the Faculty.

TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS.

In view of the unavoidable evil affects [sic] [effects] of absences upon the standing and proficiency of a student, the Faculty earnestly requests that parents and guardians do not encourage or approve any absences without very urgent reasons.
